I was thinking maybe opening a new account with a different bank just to see if any money goes in there, but then Mrs. Howard can still get all your details etc etc to do as she pleases with

There has been a cellular mast with a blinking red light at night now for the past two years. Everytime you ask the Mayor of the town when the cellular tower is going to start working he standard reply for the past two yeasr is "next month"!!!!!!!

[/quote'] On another forum I frequent, one of the guys responded to one of those 419 Nigerians and the correspondence went on for weeks on end. Was hilarious to read the email to and fro.

A friend of mine(part time hacker) who works for Standerd Bank Internet Banking Security told me that these are scams and the moment they have your acc details they start stealing a few cents or Rands every month.You likely wont notice it but take a few cents from thousands of acc and pretty soon your talking serios money!!! Think about it.Did you ever enter any foreighn lotteries or competions??And if someone really ever won $2.8 mil do you really think they will just sms you.......

At 1st i ignored them and just deleted them but they kept on comming. Evetually i replied in mix Afrikaans , sotho, zulu and put my name down as Gib Macs. Have not received an email since.
Christopher Brunsdon Posted September 22, 2009 Posted September 22, 2009 I work in the BulkSMS industry for one of the largest WASPS and use my knowledge to nail the mothers that spam me. Foschni Group got a love mega fine after I nailed them for RSC spam MTs. The only successful way of stopping SMS spam if the person uses a South African WASP is to enter in the number the message was sent from at: www.smscode.co.za Then contact them, that is the WASP whoes number this is, and keep record of that email. If you recieve no reply then continue to send an email once a day for 2 weeks. After that you go straight to: www.waspa.org.za Then lodge a complaint and mention each date you sent the mail. Once you get a reply from WASPA (this can take a week while they investigate), reply to them every time the offending company sends you spam. After 3 mths the company, and not their client, gets fined and if there are enough complaints they can get either suspended or shut down.

Being in Afkakistan, it is the only way for me to talk to the loved one in SA, but yes I also get these hallo check my profile requests. And when you ask them to leave you alone, they just intensify.
