Dusty Posted September 29, 2009 Share Did the 3 Towers at Mankele on the weekend and down a rocky descent I lost a break pad. Eish no brake. Have Juicy 5 s. I think that the pads are held in magnetically. Is this a regular occurence? Can it be prevented? Any help would be appreciated.

Cause you weren't going fast enough to use the brakes.

techguy Posted September 29, 2009 Share The juicy pads are held in by a pin in the piston which is easily damaged when pushing the pistons back to fit new pads. when damaged the pads can easily fall out and the pistons need to be replaced...
