And huge wave of "Deja Moo" too Go Squirt!!! Yes, I know I'm going to get killed for suggesting a wax based product again, but man am I tired of the mucky black crap that I get from that green top wet lube stuff (what's it called again?). You need freaking handcleaner to get it off and my mechanic was NOT happy with me when I took my (dirty chain) bike in to get the FD fixed and he got it all over his hands. The road bike gets Squirt.I bought one of those 500ml "workshop use only" Squirt bottles this weekend for 25 Euros. It's gonna last a looooong time! Deja vu on boys! Over and over and over again..
Speed Devil Posted September 30, 2009 Posted September 30, 2009 I am using Rock 'n Rol at the moment and have no problems with it.I used to use white lightning but found that it caked onto the chain and had to be scrubbed off with a brush and petrol. Rock 'n Roll is much thinner and gets between the links. i won't be changing to anything else soon. I used to also use Q20 many moons ago and never had any hassles. The only prblem was the endlessly ugly black chain and the amount of cr@p that accumulated on it. Otherwise it was a great lubricant and also got deep down into the links.the only problem is that it dries out very quickly so it needs to be re-applied quite often.

Vivster Posted September 30, 2009 Posted September 30, 2009 I wash my chain and clean it with Raleigh Chain Cleaner - R35 LBS. After giving it a good scrub and rinse, I put some SQUIRT on making shure the chain goes by all the sprockets. My chain nor gearing ever looks dirty or has residue build-up on it. No Mud, Dust, Grease or anything
