I am looking for some advice on how to choose a cycling coach.

What sort of things should I look out for that would help me make a decision?

What sort of questions should I be asking a potential coach to aid my choice?

What kind of questions might I expect a potential coach to ask me before I start working with them?

Any other advice would also be greatly appreciated.

Yeah, the dude looks rank, but I love the coach he's leaning on...

No quick fixes, it does not work that way.

Person should have some scientific/physiological background.

Programmes shoud be individualised (NOT generic!!!)

Programmes should be realistic and orientated towards the athlete's goals.

Person should be willing to refer the athlete to dieticians, doctors, physiologists etc.

Personal relationship with athlete (as in get to know the person, not sleep with them like some coaches)

Not a money shark

Do they have other athletes training under them performing well and happy?

There are more but that's what I could think of now...
