mountain_lion Posted October 21, 2009 Author Posted October 21, 2009 Yes, Giant bar ends; they are cheap and work for me; I need to change hand position often due to an old injury, so don't care what the big mouth or manfrog thinks. I am more of a practical kind of guy than a bling fan, which is why I think the white saddle is going to go too (although it does look nice). Was using the WTB saddle which came spec with my previous bike and was very comfortable on it. Might just keep it. LBS did offer a black Gobi as an exchange too...

Go for flat bars seeing that it is a racing bike and not a trails bike. Otherwise it looks nice. Giant really toned the paint schemes down.

[/quote'] that's strange, cos we used to get the aussie spec-ed giants. I also thought we would get the aussie spec again; was a bit disappointed when I saw the blue international version.
