So I just thought I'd let everyone know of some really great service I had from Mean Machine cycles in Germiston (George as I'm sure some of you will know) I recently had to buy a new set of wheels as I was sick of fixing mine that kept on breaking (Shimano wh550) So I got a new set of Mavics from George, at a good price and then how cool is this... 2 weeks later I get a call from him asking how they are and that I must feel free to bring them round anytime after a couple of weeks worth of riding to let him have a look at them and check that the spokes are all tensioned correctly etc etc Thanks Mil George, would rather support him and his dodgy little shop than some other fancier places any day!!!!!!!
EdoardoBianchi Posted May 16, 2007 Posted May 16, 2007 That's great! The shop I chose to splash R50k out on new bike couldn't be bothered to set the gears correctly. Much less call me later to check if I was happy. Luckily its campag and can be set by a monkey like me.
