MTB Kid Posted November 25, 2009 Share Rim uses similar profile as the latest PODIUM MMX --- so superwide internal cavity ( think 21mm ) for getting the beads nice and open --- bigger volume tyre, less tyre sidewall flex, more contact area etc. With the low sidewall they put that extra material into the center of the rim for strength --- assume you know the whole Bead Socket Technology feature?Will they last Melville Koppies -- sorry, only know Paul Melville from Melville Cycles These babies are en-route to him.
