One of the reasons given is to have "better border control" ............. I ask what border control. I recently travelled more than six thousand kilometres crossing borderposts twelve times and only in Angola where I had to buy a temporary import permit did they ask for my registration pappers. Not to check the registration but to obtain the registration numbers. I spent a lot of time obtaining permission, proof of insurance etc etc and nobody wanted to see my proof(s). It could have been stolen car for all that it matters.

Then isn't it time they started respecting the rules of the road, like riding single file, stopping at stop streets & traffic lights and generally not riding as though they own the roads!

It should be made law that a driver atleast must have some savvy when using the road. Oh and that goes for cyclist aswell.
