Hello there

 

one of my friends got a free set of Alex rims DA22 wheels but instead of campy they have shimano free hub, how can i fix this?? anyone know where i could get a free hub body to replace that one??

You got the wheels for free. Buy a campag hub. Or ride with a shimano cassette.

Campag and Shimano 10-speed setups are pretty much compatible. Just fit Shimano sprockets and ride it with Campy gear like Muddy suggested.

You can get cassettes designed to fit Shimano wheels, but have Campag spacing. I have no idea as to the local cost, but I have seen them on Chain reaction's website. It will cost about R500 delivered directly to your door.

Then again, if a Shimano cassette works, why spend the extra mony.
