Computrainer has more features and is much more expensive. E.g. shows u the power output on both pedals at each point of each rotation so you can work on getting the pedal stroke even. 

 

I-Magic isnt the top Tacx vr trainer, Fortius, is and I believe that's cheaper than Computrainer.

 

Depends what you need.

I've got a Computrainer. Imo it is an old design compared to other idt's.

 

Handlebar unit I got in 2007 is very old technology - perhaps they have updated it. Mine still connects to PC via serial port. Standard software is seriously out dated - graphics look like it was written in the early 90s.

You can buy some software upgrades, like ergvideo etc.

 

Advantage with Computrainer is that it has more accurate power measurement, but if it was my money I would buy a Powertap and a Tacx.
