Nicely done site, uncluttered and fast loading which is good. Slightly off-topic, but wasn't the micro-brewery closed down because it was using grey water and recently as well? You might want to check that out just in case.

The spacing of the paragraph on the right-hand side that starts with "Against a global rainfall" doesn't look quite right. Perhaps a different font will solve the problem.

Against a global rainfall average of 870mm per year' date=' South Africa receives a pitiful 450mm, making it the worlds 30th driest country. Water Rhapsody, with 15 years experience in water conservation, is number 1 in South Africa in Grey water recycling systems and Rainwater harvesting systems.

this is what needs to be changed:

"text-align: justify" - but to what?

[/quote']

justify keeps a solid margin at the left and the right

change that to left smiley2.gif

Thanks Eiger, Ill check that out.

If they did use grey water (used water from your shower, bath or hand basin) that wouldn't surprise me! ....

Grey water should only be used for irrigation or toilet flush purposes, certainly not for beer making!

Lets say your water consumtion is:

35% for irrigation

55% (33%grey and 32%black water)

10% drinking and cooking

You have already paid for the 33% grey water that you are still sending back down the drain, why not use that in your garden? And save 33% instantly?

Add a rainwater harvesting system to the above scenario and all you will require from the municipality is the 10% for drinking/cooking water!

Rainwater Harvesting is storing and pumping rainwater for bathing, showering, toilet flushing, pool, laundry and irrigation.

Took me a while but I tracked it down... turns out it was a permit thing. They were collecting rainwater and using that but the local council had issues because of health and safety permits... even though the rain water turned out to be cleaner than the drinking water lol!

Good luck with this.

Tank Man, you have the franchise or the agency ?

What is sad is that he still has that old website. He really needs to update it.

Your website looks pretty good. I will give it a more thorough going through over the weekend.

Have you looked into soap phosphate concentrations and long term impacts ? As well as the impacts of phosphate's on fynbos (the two of which dont really mix well).

Personally I like my websites to have very clean home pages, preferably that do not require scrolling for a regular size monitor. This can be achieved by placing your newsy articles elsewhere and just having a teaser on the home page. Also I prefer pastel colours or muted grey rather than the bright colours currently in the menu. And don't use caps in the menu - it is less readable than mixed case. And finally, I am not too keen on duplication. Your left bar duplicates the articles on the home page - choose one way of handling news and stick to it. And the links on the left bar are not in the links section. But overall, great job - hard to believe this is your first crack! Clap

Franchise, we are not distributing through agents for reasons such as standards and quality control.

Ill post some articles on phosphates on the site, we obviously discuss this in greater detail if you are going to be using your washing machine greywater for irrigation purposes.

There are certain bio friendly washing powders that we can recommend.

Normal washing powders phosphate concentration is to high and will have long term damaging effects to the environment.

Definitely something you need to be aware of!

Tankman, I know the blurp. I got it to when I was wanting to try get an agency a few years ago and was fobbed off.

We should hook up, we both stay in the heldeberg basin.

If you are really into environmentally friendly applications then I would be keen to chat about the franchise and where you are with it. There is alot more than just greywater/blackwater etc that might be good to get involved in.

That sounds great, thanks Slowbee. Im always interested in what else we can do to make things greener! Send me your contact details, you have mine on the web.

As franchisees we are not territorial because we are all working towards the same goal. Ill explain that to you.

But for the purpose of your question I have Helderberg/Overberg

My brother has George/Mosselbaai/Knysna.

Thanks for the feedback Domestiquehated.

Ill tidy up the home page a bit. There are so many great functions I have stumbled across but do you think I am able to find them again when I am looking for them!

Ill insert a [read full article] after the introduction paragraph on each article WHEN i find that function again!

Do you have to scroll horizontally or are you referring to scrolling down?

I have changed the CAPS in menu and that does look better I agree.

Color wise, Ill keep your comments in mind but I want you to experience as positive feel to the site as oppose to bland. After all we are we are creating a positive effect on the environment.

On duplication. If someone can please tell me in plain english (or afrikaans) how to insert a Follow Post - RSS feed button, that will eliminate that duplication. What you see on the right hand side is my failed attempt at getting the button there.

I have spent hours researching RSS feeds and I still dont get it?

I am open to suggestions of interesting websites to add to my site provided they do the same for me. Ill had the links to that page.

Thanks for the work ... Wink
