we have just got back from the most stunning 7 days in Zanzibar Mapenzi beach hotel !!! if you ever want a stunning relaxing beach vacation this is the place to go to !!!! locals are so freindly and the hotel is first class simply stunning !!!

sorry !!!! its really the best money i have ever spent on a hoilday and for 10k all inclusive per person and i mean all inclusive !!!i am now suffering on the bike big time  really really i would reccomend it

Dude! When were you there? I was at Dreams of Zanzibar - right next door from 21-28 Nov.

How was the rain though? Had the locals rather nervous - it was the first rain in 3 months...

Was there earlier this year.

1Time flies there twice a week from OR Tambo.

Stunning place, lots of blue sea, small tropical islands, friendly people and best of all, not expensive.

was also there that time 21 to 28 nov must have been on the same plane !!!! it was awesome really enjoyed it we had some heavy rain in stone town on the tuesday but nothing much after that !!! did you do a diving excursion with Verimark ??? we went to Mnemba island and safari blue it was awesome !!!

Did you enjoy the short stop over in Dar for fuel

 

Alas I don't dive - stupid eustachian tubes don't equalise very well - I end up walking in circles and falling over a lot if I dive...

 

The snorkeling was pretty good though. Better in Madagascar though! If you enjoyed Zanzibar try Madagascar - Nosy Be Island is fantastic.

grrrrr that fuel stop was *** !!! was so damm hot and that approach to the airport was quite hectic too must have been doing figure 8's hahahahaha

Beautifull pics! I will point a friend of mine in this direction. The lucky bugger won an all-expenses-paid trip to Zanzibar last week on "Reise en Soetkyse" on Kyknet.
