Help with wheels?

I?m doing the Joberg2C next year, but would like to get a good set of wheels. Light, but still strong enough to carry my 96kg.

 

Any suggestions for R4k ? R6k budget and for unlimited budget?

Ha ha, I'm in the same boat as you. Also looking for wheels for J2C except I'm a little lighter and so is my budget.

Building a set on CRC seems a good bet.

I built this set from CRC and was about R2300 on special and i have been riding them for a few weeks now and they are still perfectly true.

I weigh 95kg.

WindblownPE - I take it you did not have any problems getting the Mavic rims from CRC?! Cause it says "not to be shipped outside of EU" ... I'm going for the SunRingle EQ21 rather to avoid having my order turned around, but otherwise it's the same as yours....awesome prices!

No problems with getting them.I also bought a set of Mavic Carbones and it also said not outside EU and they were delivered no problem.
