Still can't believe that Geoff is going for it after only learning to ride a unicycle a couple of months ago. I wish him well on his trip' date=' which will be an adventure of note. [/quote']

Wow! That is even more impressive then! Very brave.

He does seem like a very driven kind of guy. He pledged to do the trip on a unicycle before he could even ride one. Learnt on a 24", which looked exactly like my no-name chinese brand that I learnt to ride on. Then 2 months or so later embarked on his trip on a 36" Uni with only a couple of weeks of riding a 36".

Impressive indeed, even from a Unicyclist's point of view.

I grow more impressed with Geoff as each day goes by. I know the area well where he is riding at the moment and the hills are a killer.

The 36" uni is a beast of note. Have only ridden one for about 2 km's on the jeep tracks in Tokai and it felt like I was riding on tar it was that smooth.
