depending on the ratios you're after their are cheaper options' date=' i recently got a 26t (64mm) and 36t (104mm)SLX chainrings......I don't ride very fast so should work just dandy.

thats being said I also considered the PMP set up, great array of ratios.......

Hey,  Ya it is quite pricy huh. Im skeeming by the time my tripple's rings are worn out (Embarrassedthat should never go together in a sentence) there should be some replacement chainrings for sram (If they fit shimano that is) otherwise I hope some peeps wake up and give the 2 blade option for shimano as a aftermarket option, Damn If I was in that Industry I would Jump at the opportunity and even style them to go with shimano cranks as the whole friggen world are going to be looking for 2x9 or 10 options this year and next. Shimano is about to lose n big share as far as aftermarket sales goes . I know its nothing compared to stuf sold OEM on bikes, but damn, enough to get my pockets full.. mm thats a bloody business oportunity right there...

Who was selling chainrings on here that time?? the thread about the XTR crankset mod's One could make a darn nifty 2x chainset like that..

Unles they were singlespeed only, which will not shift wel at all.

CRC only has 26 and 40/38's yes Rock, Im going to spin out on a 36 and 38.. especially in races.

And Finally!! Whawham!!

Somewhere to get pretty much any blade your little heart could desire.

Im thinking of getting the above 2, and pairing it with a 11-34 for now, and later maybe upgrading to 10 sp, as It seems the shifter will be avalable as a single left hand(rear) unit! that is Big news in this world, why the hell dont they make us buy  another right hand one just to take the piss... Well thank you shimano.. Aparently the 10 speed is also the best shimano shifting yet..

Anyone keen to order a set of blades soon?

It looks like one can land the set for about R700..

Naais, and it is nice and light aswell. 715g, while the X7 is  around a Kilo. thats 1/4 of the total. Might be worth considering your option.

I saw these on a bike on MTBR website.. Anyone recognise them?

Nice Video Morewood kid, I like the coverage our boys give, They always seem well educated and Polite huh, Proudly SAffa!

Peaty sounds a littlebit like he has rehersed it a bit to well and reading it from a catalogeLOL
