What should i be paying for a service on a SR Suntour XCM V2?

I jus came from a cycling shop (wont mention any names) asked him to service the above shock and a Service. His responce was R590.00 for labour excluding anyparts. What do you guys think, is that reosonable?

Attend JB's (Yellowsaddle) next course for slightly more then you'll be able to service you fork in perpetuity.

I stand corrected, but I think Linden will do that fork for under R200.

 

 

 

It's much easier to service than the more expensive Rock Shox and Fox forks.

 

 

 

It's also really easy to do yourself.

I serviced my RST coil fork and it is easy as pie!

I charge R350 ex parts but I include oil...For R590 I'll repsray the fork as well...i.e. they smoking their socks...

590 is mad, Not even the importers charge that much to service it, 

 

Suntours are easy forks even if they do have a lock out its a sealed unit and can't be serviced by the user try to get a manual and do it yourself it is relatively easy
