Had an awesome day! I'm amazed that it is such a good organised event with attention to small detail (candles in the loo just must be the best idea ever!Wink)

Where will the result be? i've tried SS timing website, but they only show stuff from last year...

Was an awesome ride ja.

Sand on the hill after first bridge was hectic.

Results should be up within next few days on ss timing website.

They also displayed it after the event.

I struggled the first lap, spent most of it with the wind in my face and really chowed me, couldnt find a group to ride with, either the guys were gunning it too much or slowly trotting along, found a riding buddy at start of the second lap and went much better.

I have to be honest, my best time before today was 2:57 but that was in September, been training ALOT since then, and today only managed to shave off 7mins.  Wasnt too disappointed as the wind/sand slowed me a bit and but after looking at the results most of the people that finished around the same time as me last race, did it much faster this time, also my %position also didnt change much.. DisappointingOuch

Man, don't be to hard on yourself - the season only started.

I am a firm believer that it isn't the quantity of training that makes you better...It is the quality of training!!! Don't train more - train smarter!

Anyway, sien jou by Sabie!

Their web pages contain internal links to last years results. Do not take the shortcuts at the top of the page, but rather scroll down till you get the event you are looking for. Click on the results (.pdf)

The results are up now
