HappyMartin Posted February 17, 2010 Posted February 17, 2010 The Jock is the hardest. Not on the list but 150km and 2700m of climbing.
nickc Posted February 17, 2010 Posted February 17, 2010 The Jock is the hardest. Not on the list but 150km and 2700m of climbing. I am with HappyMartin on this one.
BendeBeer Posted February 17, 2010 Posted February 17, 2010 Hekpoort on the Sattelite Classic is by far the toughest climb of the races around Gauteng . It gets to 40degrees and comes at the 90km mark, is about 270m vertical and last for 7km's. Overall the 94.7 is tougher though as a complete race. A windy Argus is the toughest. (Haven't done the Jock yet, I'm too scared)
rpedro Posted February 17, 2010 Posted February 17, 2010 The ATTAKWAS MTB ride gets my vote 4 sure. Compared to the Attakwas any of these other races is a walk in the park.
HappyMartin Posted February 17, 2010 Posted February 17, 2010 Jock is fantastic, it needs more people to do it though so come on everyone. It is a great motivator to keep going into winter
EZRider Posted February 17, 2010 Posted February 17, 2010 None of them are hard' date=' thats reserved for Barberton or Sabie MTB!! (I wonder if I'll be shot before my 2minute noodles are ready )[/quote'] We'll be hurting together at the Sabie
Drinks@Brawn Posted February 17, 2010 Posted February 17, 2010 I have done the 94.7 in 2004. But still find the Argus more difficult.
The Pirate Posted February 22, 2010 Posted February 22, 2010 Changed my mind, SA's for sure. I am a very humble man this morning after the weekend
E1A104 Posted February 22, 2010 Posted February 22, 2010 I'm with Mux on this one, of the races i have ridden: Panorama Tour The Jock The Vasbyt Race for Victory
