Lucky Luke. Posted March 10, 2010 Share omw' date=' just stop blaming Cars and Cyclists, lets blame the Government. The Government is suppose to design roads so that sh#t like this does not happen. [/quote'] Marius, definitely some of our roads are not so great, but even if we're still cycling when we're 90 that may still be the case. There is only one way to make us all safer starting right now, and that is to change our driving culture by educating drivers and sending the right message when the opportunity arises. Some facts: UK, deaths per 10,000 motor vehicles: 1.5SA, deaths per 10,000 motor vehicles: 16.8 Sources:http://www.factbook.net/EGRF_Regional_analyses_Africa.htmhttp://www.factbook.net/EGRF_Regional_analyses_HMCs.htm The stats suggest that the more populous and better educated a country the less likely it is there will be death on the road. Come on, he made a mistake by overtaking a lorrie in a dangerious situation. He did not plan to ride into a group of cyclist. He stays in that area since birth, he is not a flight risk Lets leave this, this topic is really not helping anyone [/quote'] Cannot agree more!
