obviously someone took notice, cause on last night highlights on the TTT, there was no commentory, just silence. Just an aside but the couple times i have watched the coverage on RAI, how awfully bad is italian regualr TV, corny corny game shows and suitably ugly preseners. Italy is th land of style, elegance and beauty but their TV is piss poor

I agree. This guy is useless. I actually rewound to see if he really did call it a pentalon.....and he had. I think the oke uses Prozac as a stimulant he is sooooo excitable.

Guys please stop the complaining ... I am really worried they're going to put Arnie & Owen Hannie on to voice over from remote.

 

What I find bizarre is that Supersport finds money for all kinds of small little arbitrary triathlon & biathlon events that probably only the 150 participants have an interest in but nothing for the big tours. Maybe it's a lack of sponsors due to tough economic times.

Flip the Giro highlights package (currently on 207) is useless. No commentary, highlights whizzing through... pathetic SuperSport!

I have been looking forwatd to following the riders, but I find it irritating listening to him quoting things that are already on screen. I can see there is snow on the mountain, and I can also read that they are riding at an average of 30km per hour. Is there any way of complaining about this to supersport.

 

Do they hire the plonker to do the commentary or do the producers of the Giro hire him?

I wrote to Supersport earlier and complained about the commentary. Got a reply that said they bought the package and that the commantary is supplied by the producers of the package. My concern was "noted". Maybe if they get enough complaints, something will be done. I did Latin 1 at 'varsity and seem to understand every 20th word of the Italian commentary on RAI.
