Upgrade to 10-speed

I'm considering upgrading my 9-speed 105 to 10-speed! Is it worth it? Or do I wait for Shimano to play catch-up with the 11-speed groupo?

105 is a excellent groupset but there was someone selling a Ultegra at a very good price last week.just do a search.

I have a 10sp 105 bike. I built up a 9sp one for resale, which I rode for about 3 months and to be quite honest, I didn't miss that extra gear.

11spd is just a sales gimmick. Not even Sram is working on it so why must Shimano. When you start strugling to find 9spd parts, that is when you upgrade to 10spd. Or when you get a crazy deal.

I agree,  don't change until you have to.  I have a bike with an eight speed 105 and it gets around just as quick as my 10 speed.
