Spoke to Evert at CWC earlier and he will let me know by about 4 pm if we are going ahead. I shall then put out the notice on the Hub on his behalf.

What a ride !! Just under 30 km/h average over 50kms is surely not too shabby.

Now it is me, the couch and an ice cold steri stumpie !!

Yeah - a really awesome ride last night, everyone stayed together on the tar sections - and regrouped at the end of the gravel parts. A nice vibe, a good average (I was suprised at the high ave), a great ride and an awesome workout...

Hi all riders and Wednesday supporters.I would like to thank Evert, Hannes and JJ who looked after you all during the last two rides while we had a ball of a time in Europe. Thanks to the riders who pitched up done the rides.

 

I will be behind the wheel tomorrow night and will give Hannes and the other okes a free night except for Evert , who is going to make his comeback on a MTB tomorrow night. Hi man, I am not going to give him a lift. He must suffer like the old days.

 

At this stage the ride is on although they predict that we are going to have rain. We will check it out and if any changes we will inform you all on the hub.

Seems like you guys had a great time in Europe ! Never the less, the Wednesday rides went ahead and we had loads of fun (and sweat). Thanks again for the other troopers who looked after our safety whilst you were shaking hands with the rich & famous.

 

I heard a little birdie whisper in my ear that you did a 100 km + ride last Sunday - nogal geskeerde bene and the works !! Does this mean that we need to start looking out for a new driver on Wednesdays ?

Would like to do one of these rides but it seems you either have to be a super fit racing snake or an extremely fit racing snake. Which is a shame as I think a lot more people will join these rides if they were able to stay with the guys and girls.

though it poses some logistical issues. Which i can appreciate, let me know when you want to go Onetime I need some friends at the very back so i dont feel like I am holding everyone up.

 

Though not this week been down with the flu since Friday and I am completly out of it.

We have decided to cancelled tonights ride due to the rain. Some more rain on the way.

 

Regarding the different rides. We will announced re different groups during the course of the week and next week.
