Yup, Aeolus with Powertap are not a budget price set of wheels that is for sure!  I am very fortunate that our sponsors make the wheels a lot more affordable for us (not free, but a lot more affordable).  Have to say though, they are an amazing ride!

 

Before I was sponsored I bought a set of Zipp 404's with Powertap.  A good, well-built set of wheels is used for a number of years, so I think it is worth the money to buy good quality.
