measuring stems

take a measure tape to LBS, pick up a 100mm stem, measure it. Then u will know if its end-to-end or center 2 center :)

ok that's pretty confusing, i checked on the website and checked my bikes specs it's 110, will a 100mm stem make a big difference.

 

reason being on the hoods, i can't see my front hub, over the bars without leaning a bit forward

For starters, the old method to determine correct length was you should not be able to hub when you are in the drops. But nowadays it's just a guide and you should do whatever is confortable.

What's so interesting about your hub that you have to stare at it ??

Besides you should be looking in front of you.
