The 555 EXPRESS has Q-rings

Many thanks WW for fitting the Q-rings and getting the bike back to me ASAP. My boet and I took the 555 EXPRESS on our clubs Saturday breakfast ride, tested the Q-rings and within the first we experienced the following.

1.       Within the first 100m we felt that the pedaling action was extremely smooth.

2.       We had no problem closing down a breakaway.

3.       We climbed little Blaauberg hill in big blade.

4.       Matter a fact we stayed longer than normal in big blade and found that we could use more gears before having to change down.

5.       Had no problem maintaining 40km/h (even though we are unfit) on a flat road.

6.       Standing and pedaling was easier.

 

Well the above was flat road and next week we will be tackling some hills and lets see what happens.

And how many watts were you generating..... let me ask you this first before Ursus Maximus and Parraffin starts shooting down your rings!!!!!!!!

 

I think the bike looks cool. That ring must be massively strong. Ow many teeth??????

Hey Herdrick must be honest with you ? the technical fights that went on around with fact versus origin of life were just too much for me. At one stage I was wondering if I made mistake but WW assured me that he felt a difference with them Q-rings on his tandem so I took the plunge and you know WATT?  We felt the difference and it was a good feeling.

WW phoned me last week already and says my QRings have arrived. I must just go collect them sometime. Feedback sounds good from everyone who's ridden them so I can't wait to get mine and test them out!
