Okay, it seems that I've taken out a day license when I entered the D2D even though I do have a Cyclosport licence and have entered the number into the form.

 

This is the screen you are faced with when selecting your category.

 

 

I selected "Open/Seeded" seeing that only with a full license do you race with the elites or VA-VC bunches. Am I right with this assumption?

 

And why doesn't the system automatically give you just the options that you qualify for when you enter you license number. I made a dummy entry into the Durban Engen race and it still gave me a notification that I need to buy a day license. That option should be greyed out when you fill in your number a few steps before.

Mine aswell along with my club name Racetec and CC numbers. BTW, what is a TSA number?

I had a problem for 2 years (2007 and 2008) with this race in particular where I entered VA and I was placed in the open seeded instead, even though my licence number appeared in the personal detail section

Now I remember the problem - your licence is (probably) new, and Cycle Events probably haven't received the update from CSA.

Speak to Cycle Events - @ CycleLab and ask them if they have your licence details on record.
