Do everything myself except true-ing up wheels and shock rebuilds.

Fork attended to myself.

Sick and tired of getting my bike back from LBS and still find brake fluid on the underneath of the caliper or they used bolts which are too short to fasten the caliper to the front shock (SID Race) and strip the thread in the shock!!!! Wanted to kill the techie that worked on it!

After several disappointments, I know do it myself.

I'll do minor stuff, such as post-wash checking and lubing, myself. I've built a couple of bikes and done some services myself. Also if something interesting breaks I'll try to fix it myself. Maintenance doesn't really interest me so, once I've done a task myself a couple of times, the novelty wears off and I'd rather send it to someone else.

I normally use my LBS but I'm considering trying out MobileBikeTec for my next service due to the convenience. My wheels go to JB since he built most of them and I get free tune-ups.

I don't have a bike with a life-time warranty, so as soon as the parts warranty wears off (normally 1 year) I do everything myself.

Amazing what you learn when you make a mistake.
