I would like to inform everyone that the guy that fell at the Lion Park is in Sunning Hill hospital and that he had an operation on his jaw. It went well and he is on his way to recovery.

Hope he has a speedy recovery ... as mentioned in another thread about this, I would like to know what the traffic cones this guy hit were doing out on the road during a well advertised road race, and why the organisers/marshalls did not see and correct this. I believe from other people that this is what happened, so I stand to be corrected here, but since this a popular cycling route it stands to reason that this practice of placing cones on this section of the road must be sorted out pronto.
