GLuvsMtb Posted September 16, 2010 Share R25 000 = R82/month on a full all risk basis. Most insurance companies exclude cover whilst in use or in any race. Check your policy wording. A good rate on your bicycle value is 4-5% (full all risk cover) IE R30 000 @ 5% = R1500pa or R125/month. I deal with a couple of companies that offer the cover whilst in use/racing, with minimum exclusions.Thats correct, but if you have a warrantee on the frame and don't race much, normal all risk insurance should be ok.
