Plan is to park at my local Grapes, head out to the Benoni dumps, ride for two to three hours, then head back to grapes for brekkie and beer. Has to be a Sunday. Any takers? Any dates?

It's worse after heavy rains. It becomes clay. The fine sand isn't that bad if you wash your bike straight after the ride.

Delgado Posted September 27, 2010 Posted September 27, 2010 Done it on my MX bike a few times, that fine sand gets into everything, I'd be very hesitant to take my MTB to the dumps......and if you don't clean the bike immediately it starts to pit the metal its so corrosive......also try not to breathe any of that dust in...rather mask up....
