94.7 route change ??? why why why ???

I dont understand for the life of me why these &^%$# race organizers have changed the route again !!!

How are we meant to compare our times of past races when the route changes every @#&^%$ year.

 

Get with the programme people !!!

 

I can understand Argus , as there are road works , and as soon as the road is done i am positve it will go back to the "old" route , at least this year is the same as last years , hope the wind is a bit less

It has to do with roadworks, safety and EXPLRORING the inner Jhb city ???

Taxi assoc apparently also have a hand in the decision - so who rules who?

Ya - I'm bored with the 94.7 race.......I've decided this is no longer a priority race, it's over-rated, expensive, too many cyclists and serves me no good purpose. That's just me. I'll rather do the Race for Victory every year as I've always done.

not too sure about argus entry....idont belong to a club so the extra license fee was also added...really cant justify R610 for a 2.5 hr road ride

Ja thats heavy. The only person I can ride with if I had a tandem would by my wife, and I'm not draging her ass for an extra R340
