They have been extensively trained from obedience, tracking work, therapy work for the aged, agility, gun dog activities and working trials. I have a GSD and a Labrador, so sadly this doesnt look like the place i will be able to visit due to their size. There is a greater chance of me flying to the moon, than leaving my dogs behind to go away. Sorry. I will reply to your PM shortly. Thanks for your pm, hope to see you and your dogs soon.Your horses are also welcome to come and visit for your duration there is plenty food for them and my dad sells lucern aswell, the only two things that happens on this farm is : Game ( busy with the breeding of the"swart rooibok" about 5 little ones allready from this project), and lucern.

Got still some space from 20 Dec onwards.

Zaskar Posted November 30, 2010 Posted November 30, 2010 We headed out to the farm on Friday last week, and spend the weekend there. What an amazing place, I can definitely recommend it to anyone interested in a chilled weekend away and some great family mountanbiking. I went through on my GS in the morning, and the rest of the party came through in the evening after work with the mountain bikes. It’s about 3 - 3 and half hours from JHB, depending on the traffic, and the roads there are great. The farm is around 600 hectares I believe, and there are around 40km of roads criss-crossing the place. We road virtually all of the tracks, and they range from good quality graded sand roads to rocky jeep track. There are some great challenging uphill / downhill sections of road, made up of loose rocks and shale which will challenge even the most experienced of riders. Around every corner you will find game, and the pics that Gustav and the others have posted are definitely true. We saw all the species of antelope, as well as a lot of Warthog. I would definitely recommend the place to any family looking to go away for a weekend with the kids, there is more than enough riding to keep them happy, and if you are looking for some distance you can easily clock up 50 or 60km in a day on the various roads. I would grade the routes as beginner to intermediate which is perfect for a social family weekend away. Currently there is no formal single-track, but I did ride on quite a few of the game paths, and this made for a nice change from the sand roads and jeep tracks. I also had great fun riding around the farm on the motorbikes, so the place in my opinion really does have a lot to offer. Here are some of the pics we took over the weekend:
