Any idea what solvent I can use to remove after-market decals? They're on a set of Ventos. I've tried benzine and thinners (takes the ink off but not the adhesive); I've tried peeling them off but the plastic breaks into tiny little pieces. Any other ideas, o ye fellow Hubber fonts of information, good advice, and boer-maak-'n-plan-isms?

Also heard that furniture polish like Mr Min might also work. I know it works very well removing double-sided tape.

Now you have 5 solutions

Why would you want to "get-off" on after-market decals?!?!

Try the hairdryer or maybe even an exposed flame to soften the glue & plastic. Rather stick to the hairdryer. Any fluid solvent to "attack" the plastic if applied and left for a couple of minutes, might damage the paintwork though.

Oh, and if you can get one of those high pressure thingies. That will take care of stickers for you. Blasted my stickers right off of my rock shock the other day.
