I have never been to any of the other bike parts in and around gauteng so I was wondering how does Groenkloof compare to them?

1. Is it worth the drive? (I live right next to Groenies)

2. Technicality, I've heard that some of the other parks mark their trails by colour-coding them, what colour would groenkloofs technical pieces be? (Singletrack up from Nelson Mandela (R21) by the now chopped-down big tree (on the Monument Park side), singletrack along Botha ave etc.)

3. Price

Any feedback would be appreciated, looking for something new to do over the weekend.

Groenkloof is great...but you're robbing yourself of a bit of awesomeness by limiting yourself.

Teak and Van Gaalens are definite musts within a quick drive from you.

Any info?

Teak definetly more difficult than groenkloof.

Van Gaalens is great along the river and good climbing up to the Greek Church or past the pig farm.

You will definetly enjoy both places
