looks like a gary fisher...classic place they all break

 

would not give it a lot of time...as long as your seat post extends well below the bottom weld and the crack does not get much bigger you'r probably OK for a while. But I'd be looking for a replacement

Have put in a claim for a new frame - about three weeks.

probably OK....just watch that crack if it gets much bigger spinning class might be it.
