GPX route or profile of Sani Pass

Anyone know where I can get hold of a recent .gpx file or route profile of Sani Pass ? I am doing the Sani Frontier Epic in early Dec and would like to start getting mentally ready ..lol

My Polar profile of last years race. 44km, 1500 ascent.

 

Basically just one never ending moerse hill. Race only really starts after the border crossing will take it easy till then...

Hey Griffin. Don't look at the profile. It just goes up. But when you come down, it's all worth it. Just remember it is on a public road. Please be cautious on the descent, it is very very fast. Have fun. Will see you there.

Too my 'Sani' up the Sani Pass last year, wish I had the stamina to cycle it...oneday!

I think this is interesting ... comparing Sani to Mont Ventoux (although Sani is not so nice and smoothly tarred) with The Mast in Cape Town and some other little pimples on the Argus route (and you roadies thought they were climbs) and one of the 2008 stages of the Epic. Scale is as accurate as I could get it.

Up!!! All there is to it, Seriously though the first 8 kms is relatively flat and then up! Just hope for less mud than last year!!!! Will see you there!

I thought that Epic stage 2 was one of my hardest days on a bike. Compared to that TDF profile makes me realise the vast chasm between their ability/fitness/mental strength and mine.

Thanx for all the suggestions, help and comments. this will be my first Sani Frontier ... kinda intimidated by that climb ! Just gonna go out there and have some fun...those views look worth it ! Will take some pics and post them here afterwards (great excuse to stop and take a breather !!)
