Interesting development, the store that already had shopfitters doing their thing inside, appears now to be moving across the road to Waterfall Shopping Center instead. Might be due to the fact that Link Hills Shopping center is has still to be passed by council. Going to move in where the old Wimpy was (which means that the Wimpy is now not coming back?). Maybe open next weekend.

This is going to be one short-lived store I'm afraid :(

The thing is, Waterfall is a burgeoning little area, just down the haul from Hillcrest. Hillcrest has seen exponential growth in the past few years, and it's mostly young, well-to-do mense who are looking for a way to let off steam on the weekends.

I think it'll do well, what with GIBA down the road (okay, not just down the road, but close enough) and easy accessibility to the richer parts of Kloof and the ever-growing Hillcrest.

I wish them the best of luck - going to check their stuff out when I'm up there in December...

Went through Hillcrest a few years ago, didn't recognise it then. Family had a farm out that side ages ago in the valleys.
