Keith Litten was tested positive on 18th June 2006 during the Veterans Tour for Testosterone/Epitestosterone and found guilty as charged and suspended for 2 years reduced to one year under Article 265. Yet he race in the Vets category in the 94.7 and R4S in 2007. How is this possible?

The sad thing is some that people, almost 50,  need drugs to stay in touch with the cream of the 45-49 bunch. Pathetic actually, when one considers that at this age it's for fun. So you come 4th and need some help to do it. And then you look at yourself in the mirror. What's the fun of that.

I'm sure there are many more Vets who haven't quite accepted their genetic inheritance (or lack thereof) yet.

Well, he's done his ban sentence and therefore he's free to compete again... It is scary to think that the Vets are resorting to Pharmaceutical Enhancement?!

Doping in the Vets!! I love it!! Its a wonderfull thing to see someone SO pathetic, trying so desperately to be someone in Vets when he obviously never had enough talent as a youngster!!! Go Dianabol!!! At least we can all laugh at the "Geriatric jUICER!"

Because we are all licensed to ride the Argus i will have to be careful if they start testing the old guys in the OF bunch

his ban was only for 1 year.. he is free to compete again Shocked

Let me see, caught on the 18th June 2006, rides 94.7 in Nov 2006 and R4S in Feb 2007. So when does the 1 year ban start?

Perhaps the testosterone wasn't for his cycling performance, but rather for  performance in other pursuits (wink wink, nudge nudge) that start to wane after a certain age. Wink

Well,if he rode under his ban period, then CSA should be called to task...but then they have a sketchy history with overlooking ban periods, or actually acknowledging them...remember JP Van Zyl '99? I say, test positive once and your done. Leopards never change their spots...
