Co2 Bombs

i know the lbs close to me now is a rip off, but wanted to get them, while it's still fresh in my mind, i know i will forget and get stuck with the same problem again.

TIP from experience: When using a CO2 bomb, make sure that the VALVE IS OPEN BEFORE RELEASING THE BOMB!!!! DAMMIT!!!!! could not understand why there was all this hissing going on and the tyre was staying deflated. Only after the the whole thing had gone nuts did I realise that I had forgotten to open the valve.

I used 4 bombs over the weekend. Found that the 12g is pretty useless for a roadbike. Only gets the wheel to about 6bar, wich rides pretty crap.

jip die 12g aint so good,16g is baas het self weer die naweek een gebruik,is baie beter as tyre pomp lang die pad

Forget the old pump.  Just carry bombs along (unless you are a serious weight weenie!)

The thing is if you used a bomb you will have to pump the wheel in anycase the next morning.

ok bottom line, on a good day i weigh about 64kgs will a 12g be enough, if i pump it up a bit with the hand pump 1st?
