I'm from out of town and was wondering if it would be possible to catch the gautrain with my bike to get near Dunkeld for the critical mass?

your best option is to travel to the end of the Gautrain line (park station) and cycle to Braamfontein from there.

 

Note that the above option is a 1 way trip as the cow-train stops running after 7PM, so be prepare to cycle back home or catch a ride with someone....

I want to try this. Any new bike bag tips? I was thinking of more of a cover than a bag. That allows you to still push the bike
