come on thug you dont need a week to recover from the joburg tri?? maybe the wallets do but we will be fine :lol:

Think of the swim like this:-

 

1. Its +- 15 minutes of moderate effort..... comon its only 15 minutes

 

2. Swimming is lekker because you only need 30 minutes to do some proper training (almost like running). Cycling takes loooong

 

3. Swimming increases your lung capacity which will help with your cycling etc eventually

 

4. Go for a few swimming classes. Swimming is 70% technique and 30% effort.....

T-girl its about 2 hours drive to Buffelspoort from Sasolburg.

 

PS. Sasolburg is my hometown (dont laugh) we stay in vanderbijlpark now

 

I'm not laughing!! My bro lives in Vaal park so I'm coming up from Durbs to do Buffelspoort Sasolcross and Xterra lite! Sasolburg is not that bad...some nice events that side to do!! Plus the roads are nice and quiet for training on :thumbup:

i would seriously recommend that you do the race if you gonna be in the area! the info is under the events section! i personally love the race... there is a section of single track next to the vaal river that will blow your mind!
