Black XT cranks

Nice looking bike but what caught my eye is the Black XT cranks

what caught my eye was the blue black and white colour scheme and the model name "Reaction". Maybe done so to look like a Chain Reaction bike.

 

the cranks will not be black for long. Silver is still the best.

A quick google on images of "xt dynasys black crank" has no relevant hits

Cube possibly asked Shimano for an OEM only version.

 

Or someone at Cube was having fun with Photoshop.

Those look naais> you recon they are standard XT though? aybe 2011 limeted release? something like that. Its probably XT's turn for a overhaul next year as XTR just got one. I want those cranks!

I see that they have this black XT crank on a couple of there si ilar spec bikes

It's probably an OE deal for cube, Just like Specialized get custom coloured cranks, brakes etc...it's all about buying power, the more you buy the more power you have to choose colours...

Yea i had the same black crank but no more its now half silver and black
