For as long as possible, Face Plant.

Also, see how you feel.

E.g. I wear my compression socks for the afternoon and take them off mostly before nighttime as I cannot wear it for too long.

In summertime, those socks stay on fore 2-3 hrs. Then I get too hot.

Are condoms classified as "Compression garments" yet?

Don't know much about all this stuff but I would hazzard a guess that you wear the stuff as long as you want to be compressed.

Medical science has shown though, that tight pants / undies can lead to a low fertility rate in men. (Then again maybe that's not an altogether bad thing.)

That why you sleep in them

Obree sorry im not sure i understand what you mean! are you saying that you should be wearing them permanently outside of training/racing?

i have read several articles about compression gear and till recently there has only been scientfic proof that it aids recovery with no proof that it helps during training/racing, however, i read an article in the mens health recently that showed the results from a study done at a university in germany that showed that athletes, on average they improved their running endurance by 16% because of the notion that because muscles are kept more compact, balance and proprioception are improved and muscle fatigue is minimized.

i ran with mine last night and cant say that i felt a difference, but because of all the positive studies about the benefit of recovery i would like to know how long one should wear them to get maximum benefit

'para are you insinuating that compression gear is snake oil too? :o

It's lycra garments that's 2 sizes too small for you. I can maybe understand those that have different "strength" panels to go over different parts of the body but most are just one piece.

'para the only difference between power balance and compression gear is the little thing called scientific proof
