I'm with DHK. wet weather MTB'ing is really the best. if it's sloppy it's great, but it is a bit sketch if the soil is claylike, and it didnt rain enough. makes things greasy, but overally, still better than in the dry.

 

Claylike soil you are revering to.... Here it is known as ‘aap-***’ and that is exactly what it is. I love to ride wet, but here your wheels turn into 16’’ slicks that refuse to turn or grip.
