I usually use either a 2.1 L bladder or a 3L one depending on the duration that I expect to be riding. steve Posted October 23, 2007 Share Gather round and let me tell you a story. On the Crater Cruise i, for the first time put energy stuff in my camelback. By halfway it was empty so I refilled it, mixed it lekker etc but it clogged up and I had blow into it so I could drink. To cut a long story short, by 75 km I was dead and wanted water, just good ole water. I had energy gels with me, but didn't take one of them. [/quote'] You can keep the mud off the drinking part of the water bottle with one of those covers they put on towbar electrical plugs. They seem to cover most bottle ends, but they do make it a mission to have a drink though. And if anyone uses this tip for Bicyclings rider to rider tips, I want the shoes.
