I think the shell goes on top not underneath. It's meant for nasty weather. Only problem is you're pretty much stuck with it if it gets too hot.

A great feature for those chilly winter rides.

Doesn't cover the ol' protruding ear lobes though.

Can't see it ever taking off in in Durban....

 

I wouldn't in Durban, but the rain that the interior is getting at the moment might be good. Cape Town would be good in the winter - pity there isn't a waterproof body suit too (bar a wetsuit).
