With me new 'Dale, considering getting a chainguard to protect her smooth and silky skin.

 

What would the style gurus on the Hub suggest? :blush:

You need to be more specific, chain guard or slap sock ?

I wrote chain guard, Dangle...

 

What is a slap sock? Nevva heard of that. :rolleyes:

get a piece of clear protective film if you want, it goes unseen and will protect

Then what is the problem actually, every roadbike should have a chain guard.

I'm not much of a techno dude...always open to learning. :blush:

 

Whatever that thing is that protects the frame from being slapped by the chain on bumpy terrain... :unsure:

That is called a chain stay protector. It can be anything from a strip of insulation tape to a neoprene cover or even an old tube wrapped around the stay. A chain guard is something that helps keep the chain in check.

Yep. A sock that slappers wear to prevent damage to vital components...
