I got tired of using blankets, noodles, matresses etc and came up with this:

Add some tie downs to reduce stress on the drop outs during transport and presto! Been using mine for a few years now without any hassles. Wheels stand up between the bikes. Made from square tube and machined pins.

Can you post some dims?

I have a CAD drawing somewhere that I will have to find first. Should be able to put up a PDF file when I find it. Materials used are as follows:

25x2mm SQ tube

25x8 f/bar

16dia BMS round bar.

You will need somebody with a lathe to machine the pins for you though. The rest is cut and weld. Make sure you get it square or your bike leans over when attached to rhe rack!! Looks really k@k...

Go to Sportsmans wearhouse and jusr buy the QR brackes, they come with holes etc. Jusr mount on your ally plate and be done with it. Damn why complicate issues.
