Spat Posted February 16, 2011 Posted February 16, 2011 Hi I posted in the tourdep thread and aksed if we would be welcome to join, I am sure its not gonna be an issue so I suggest everyone who is keen just post on that thread that they will be attending and then we can ride with them, they are a great bunch of guys I rode a burger training ride with them and it was nice group.

Any of you do the Medallion this weekend? what were your times? I did 2:57 but that was for 98km, so I'm having a rethink about by 3:20 ambitions cos it only had 840m of climbing and the Fun Champs has about 400m more.

Biggest wheelsucker - For the person with the most decent time without getting to the front and pulling ONCE.2. Mr\Mrs MountainGoat - Constantly leading out when the road goes up.3. Captain Hazard - Not all people have similar bunch riding skills.4. Father\Mother Time - Longest day in the saddle. (Slowbee has already donated a prize for this)5. Thats great categories I am not sure how this group is going to work hey, my personal strategy is gonna be to try and stick with the front of J for as long as I can, and go as hard as I can, keeping in mind my own limits, as I would like to finish strong and hopefully have something left in the tank for the end. Looking forward to meeting on the 5th March. Have you looked at the split time calcs at all....sub 3 one is daunting hey.
