I am guessing between mental institutions? is it even possible to ride that far in 12hours?

Mannie Heymans rode the 340km Desert Dash in 12H13 on a MTB. Should be a breeze to ride 400km in 12 Hours on tar on a road bicycle?

Yes, but David on the other hand will most likely be trekking with his 100kg backpack full of Cyclomax orders :) ... the guy is a robot. Pitches up at Argus MTB Challenge last year with like 30kg of lugage in his backpack to drop off some orders. He did not even break into a sweat after cycling out from Cape Town via Wellington !!!

Hell, I bailed out after 10km due to the heat and this man was cooler than Vanilla Ice.
